5-Day Tanzanian Adventure: Safari, Waterfalls & Coffee Tour

This is a five‑day group tour accommodating just 6–7 guests in a custom safari jeep with a pop‑up roof, accompanied by a guide/driver and chef. You’ll explore Tanzania’s renowned northern circuit parks, including Serengeti – Spend 2 days/1 night in this iconic park, famed for hosting over a million wildebeest and roughly 250,000 zebras during the Great Migration  and Ngorongoro Crater – A highlight for its stunning landscapes and uniquely easy wildlife viewing on the crater floor.Tarangire – Often described as a more compact Serengeti, celebrated for its massive elephant herds.This tour strikes a perfect balance between immersive wildlife viewing and relaxation—ideal for anyone passionate about exploring East Africa’s wild side.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel, and after a short introduction to your guide and chef, we’ll head to Tarangire National Park, well-known for its rich and varied landscape. This park is especially famous for its majestic ancient baobab trees and for hosting the largest population of elephants in Tanzania. It offers exceptional opportunities to observe elephant herds and their social behavior up close.

We’ll embark on a game drive through the park, focusing on areas with recent wildlife sightings—especially of predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, which can be elusive. The park also teems with herbivores such as giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest, making for excellent wildlife viewing throughout.

Later, we’ll stop at the Tarangire River picnic site, where you’ll enjoy lunch with a scenic view of the river and animals nearby. Be aware—cheeky monkeys and baboons may try to sneak a bite, but there’s no need to worry. After lunch, we continue with the game drive before exiting the park in the evening.

Day 2: Mto wa mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive from Mto wa Mbu to the Serengeti (approx. 6 hours including a scenic stop in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for crater views).
An optional stop at a Maasai village offers insight into traditional culture.

In the late afternoon, arrive in Seronera, the Serengeti’s wildlife-rich center. Enjoy lunch, then embark on a sunset game drive—a prime time to spot predators in action. Afterwards, relax with dinner and stay overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Wake up early in the morning at 06 am after a hot cup of coffee, you will leave the campsite for morning game viewing in the heart of Serengeti National Park while enjoying the Morning beautiful sun rises though it’s going To be a bit chill in the morning don’t forget your warm clothes, get on with the game drive till on the mid-day drive back to camp for full breakfast and Lunch which means a Branch, Then later leave the camp for Ngorongoro Conservation area while you are having a game drive en route towards Ngorongoro Simba Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a short drive to the crater’s descent point and then descend approximately 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater floor supports a rich ecosystem with permanent water sources, attracting a variety of resident wildlife, including the elusive black rhino, thanks to its reliable year-round water supply 

Mid-drive, enjoy a picnic lunch while surrounded by wildlife against the dramatic crater backdrop. Afterward, ascend back to the rim and drive back to Arusha. This unforgettable experience provides one of the most concentrated and accessible wildlife encounters in Africa.

Day 5: Materuni waterfalls & coffee tour

Your day begins with a morning pickup by an English-speaking guide who will drive you to the village office to register your visit. From there, embark on a shaded 40-minute hike through vibrant coffee and banana plantations. Along the way, your guide will share insights into Chagga traditions, local agriculture, and the surrounding flora and fauna—if weather permits, you might even glimpse the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro.

At the end of the trail, you’ll reach the towering Materuni Waterfall, which cascades over 80 meters into a refreshing natural pool—don’t forget your swimwear for a revitalizing dip.

Back in the village, enjoy a hearty traditional Chagga lunch, featuring local favorites like banana stew, vegetables, and rice dishes. You’ll also have the chance to taste authentic banana beer, a unique cultural delicacy.

The tour continues with a hands-on coffee experience, where you’ll learn how Arabica beans are cultivated, dried, roasted, and ground. Participate in grinding the coffee yourself, accompanied by lively Chagga songs and dances, and finish by savoring the coffee you helped prepare while enjoying the rainforest scenery.

This enriching journey blends natural beauty, cultural exchange, and sensory delights—making it a memorable day beyond the typical safari.
