Day 1: Zanzibar to Central Serengeti
Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip, your driver will be awaiting your arrival to commence your safari adventure in Serengeti National Park, famously known as “The Endless Plain.” This UNESCO World Heritage Site spans 1.5 million hectares of savannah and is renowned for its rich biodiversity and the annual Great Migration.
Serengeti is home to approximately 2 million wildebeests, 900,000 Thomson’s gazelles, and 300,000 zebras, forming the core of the Great Migration. These herds are accompanied by a variety of predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, creating one of the most dynamic predator-prey ecosystems in the world.
As you traverse the park, you’ll encounter vast plains dotted with kopjes (rocky outcrops) and diverse habitats, offering exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities. After a day of exploration, you’ll return to your lodge for evening leisure and overnight stay.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park full day
After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive through the heart of Serengeti National Park. Beyond the iconic Big Five, the Serengeti boasts a rich tapestry of wildlife. Colorful agama lizards bask on the park’s rocky outcrops, while rock hyraxes scurry among the granite kopjes. The park’s diverse habitats support over 500 bird species, including the striking secretary bird, the majestic African fish eagle, and the endemic Fischer’s lovebird. Insects like dung beetles play a crucial ecological role, contributing to the Serengeti’s vibrant ecosystem. As the day concludes, return to your lodge for evening leisure and overnight stay.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, home to approximately 25,000 large mammals, including the endangered black rhino. The fertile environment supports a variety of species such as wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, and elephants. Predators like lions, hyenas, and leopards are also present. Over 500 bird species have been recorded, including flamingos and ostriches.
Enhance your experience with a visit to a Maasai boma, where you can witness traditional dances, tour a Maasai village, and shop for local crafts. Please note that this activity incurs an additional fee.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Day 4: Tarangire National Park to Arusha Aiport
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its ancient baobab trees and the highest concentration of elephants in Tanzania. The park’s diverse landscapes, including acacia woodlands and swamps, provide a rich habitat for a variety of wildlife. During the dry season, animals congregate around the Tarangire River, offering excellent game viewing opportunities. Keep an eye out for predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, though they are more elusive.
After a day of exploration, you’ll return to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
